Amicus is supporting cultural institutions that provide women a basic education, while passing on the spiritual traditions of their culture.

What these women do. They provide counsel to families in crisis, bring food to the hungry, and courage to the dying. They preside over funerals, weddings, and births, look after the sick, and console the grieving. They bring hope and courage to their communities.

These women are highly motivated to develop skills with which they can serve. They are truly living compassion.
